1.Add
Add new Charge Zones following the steps shown below. (Note: for better understanding, this page will be reffered to as the first-level charge zone.)
To mannually add charge zone, fill in the Charge Zone name (description is optional), and click 'Save'.
To add multiple charge zones at a time, fill in the first-level Charge Zone name, download the template file, complete the file, then upload.
Note: Uploading is not supported for existing first-level charge zones, only new first-level charge zones support template uploading.
2.Edit
After a new first-level charge zone has been added, click 'Edit' in the Operation section to enter the Zone Detail page.
The Zone Detail page consists of three parts, as shown below:
- Edit the first-level charge zone name & description, click 'Save' after changes;
- Secondary-level charge zone;
- Rules of each secondary-level charge zone;
To add or edit a secondary charge zone, click 'Add' or 'Edit', as shown below:
To add or edit a charge zone rule, click 'Add' or 'Edit', as shown below:
Note: When entering the Zone Detail page, rules under the top secondary-level charge zone will be displayed as a default setting, the secondary-level charge zone name will be displayed at the upper-right corner of the rules list, as shown below:
3.Delete
To delete any first-level charge zones, select the data you wish to delete (multi-select supported), then click 'Delete', as shown below:
Note: First-level charge zones that have been used cannot be deleted.
To delete any secondary-level charge zones, select the data you wish to delete (multi-selection supported), then click 'Delete'.
Note: While deleting secondary-level charge zones that have been used, a second confirmation message will pop-up to remind you that this charge zone has been used, as shown below. If choose to continue deleting, data containing any pages relating to this zone will be cleared. For example, if any last mile rate card is in use, after deleting the secondary charge zone, the corresponding section in the last mile rate card will be deleted.
To delete any particular rules, select the data you wish to delete (multi-selection supported), then click 'Delete', as shown below.
Note: Rules can be deleted whether used or not, there will be no second confirmation.
4.Export
Select the first-level charge zones you wish to export (multi-selection supported), then click 'Export Detail', as shown below.
Note: Multiple first-level charge zones can be distinguished under the Charge Zone column in the exported excel file.
5. Rules Setting Notes
5.1. Departure fields are currently unavailable, any setting will not take affect at the moment, as shown below.
5.2. Matching Method is set default as Match Complete; Destination Zip Code is mandatory field.
5.3. Fields other than "Destination Matching Method" are not mandatory, but at least one field should be filled in to save the rule. Any fields that are filled will take effect. Empty fields will not take effect.
5.4. Zip Code:
Matching Method:
- Match Complete (Default). (to match the complete zip code of orders with the setting)
- Match Start. (match the beginning of orders' zip code with the setting, matching length depends on the setting)
Zip Codes can be entered in four types (maximum 64 characters):
- Single zip code. (exact match mode, e.g., 111A.)
- Multiple zip codes. (enter zip codes seperated by comma, result need to match one of the included, e.g., 111A,2222,3333)
- Zip code range. (numeric only, with the same number of digits from small to large, e.g., 1111-9999)
- Zip code range+multiple zip codes. (e.g., 111A,2222-9999)
